World’s Largest Buffalo
If you’ve driven through Jamestown “Buffalo City”, North Dakota, there’s no possible way you missed the astounding tourist attraction of the World’s Largest Buffalo.
Elmer P. Petersen, just recently hitting his 80th birthday and still living life to the fullest in Galesville, Wisconsin, built this amazing bronze sculpture back in 1959. The Jamestown buffalo still stands today at 26 feet high and is 46 feet in length, weighing 60 tons! Since then, he has been commissioned to create some amazing metal sculptures that often take several years to complete due to the complexity of the bronzing process.
